How many books can I check out at a time?

There is no limit on how many materials/books you can check out at a time, except maybe how much you can carry.

For how long may I keep the materials? How many times may I renew the materials?

Loan periods vary according to what it is you are checking out and your patron classification...
In general, Undergraduates have 30-day check-outs (plus 2 renewals); Graduate students have 120-day check-outs (plus 2 renewals).
