Yes, the libraries are open to the public and anybody can visit and use most library resources in the building. 

Please note, all Green Library Guests will need to show an FIU OneCard/ID, state-issued ID, or some other form of government identification in order to access the building. Access to non-FIU affiliated visitors will only be allowed until 9pm.

If you are coming to the Biscyane Bay Campus, we recommend you bring in your laptop in for access to the library databases.

Note: Students from Miami-Dade College can check materials out of the library too! As long as the student has an active course load for the current semester, circulation can verify their status and add them into the system for checkouts.
