There is a way to configure EndNote to search some FIU Libraries databases and our catalog.  The catalog access works pretty seamlessly, there is documentation here: https://fclaweb.fcla.edu/content/z3950-access-aleph

Some databases also allow for access to their resources via EndNote, those also must be set up using the Z39.50 protocol.  Each database should have its own documentation available in their support/help section with details on how to set this up.  Here's another example: http://www.fcla.edu/z3950/endnote.html
