Library Fines for most overdue materials are 25 cents per day per item. Exceptions include but are not limited to Course Reserves, Laptops, and Group Study Rooms. 

Devices have varying loan periods with an overdue fine of $10.00 hourly (or any part thereof).

Note: The FIU Libraries reserve the right to impose fines and overdue charges equal to the value of the item. Please see the "Library Fines" section of the Circulation & Borrowing Policies page for more information.
