To avoid plagiarism, you must cite the sources you use. Many of the library databases have a tool that automatically creates citations for the sources. Look for "Cite," "Cite This," or "Citation" links and icons.

The tool will create a citation in one of various citation formats, such as MLA and APA. Be sure to double check the citation since it is computer generated and may need some manual correction.

You may also import the citations into a reference manager such as EndNote, Mendeley, RefWorks, or Zotero.
