Q. Why am I no longer able to access RefWorks?

RefWorks Cancellation

The library's decision to cancel the subscription to the citation management tool, RefWorks, is based on thorough assessment of usage patterns, cost, and the prevalence of free and low-cost alternatives.

Please note, RefWorks access is available to all users until March 31, 2025.

All current and alumni users will need to move their references to another reference manager before this date. Unfortunately, only references can be migrated. PDFs and any other attachments will not automatically transfer and will need to be reattached separately.

Data can be exported to alternate citation managers, such as EndNote and Zotero. FIU Panther TECH provides access to EndNote and Zotero is a free, open-source citation management program.
